Hehocca 2
Argyle, New York
One of three early cabins built in the “Oaks” in 1884, Hehocca suffered major damage due to an electrical short in a 2014 fire. The cabin was rebuilt generally to match the historic exterior form. New materials mimic the historic finishes. A new foundation was required. The neighboring cabin/trailer suffered some damage as well was gutted and rehabbed in an aquatic motif with salvaged and found artifacts.
